This is no ordinary seaside resort. Marrying the warmth and charm of a small town with the vibrant culture of a cosmopolitan destination, Lytham is a town full of possibilities for your visit. Sandy beaches. Exciting events. Rich history. It’s all yours to explore from our doorstep.

Things to do...

Take a two-minute stroll and you’ll find yourself in the heart of Lytham. With independent boutiques and high street names, chic restaurants and trendy bars, an annual festival, Lytham Green and Promenade, there really is something special here for everyone.

Every town has its own story. Ours is truly fascinating – and it’s there to be discovered. Step back in time at Lytham Hall, be entertained at Lowther Pavilion, explore the workings of our famous Windmill and discover the life-saving history of the RNLI at the Lifeboat Museum.

  • Take a deep breath and savour the Fylde Coast fresh air. From sandy beaches, fishing spots and boating lakes, to no fewer than four championship golf courses, this is the great outdoors at its best.

You don’t have to go far to find a whole world of possibility. Our neighbouring town of St Anne’s mixes modern shops and amenities with the traditional character of a Victorian seaside resort.

A little further around the coast, you’ll find the bright lights and incredible attractions of the country’s capital of family holidays, Blackpool.

For more beauty on the doorstep, in about an hour’s drive, you could explore the natural beauty of the Lake District, or the rolling hills around the Forest of Bowland.
